Kats and kittens, I think Harmattan is over. The windy wind has settled down and the afternoons are now steam steam steamalicious. Meaning I sweat a lot (more) and want to bath all the time. Also, my lip balm is perpetually melted.

I have a new mission at school and that mission is teaching these kids some times tables. I randomly took some flashcards into P6 yesterday and we played a game with them. Guys, it was painful. They don’t know them at all. At All. What they do is make slash marks on a piece of paper and then count them. They also do lots of laborious counting of fingers. Even older kids, like JSS2s. They even had to think about 0 x 0. So ultra multiplication memorization is going to happen. Internet time dunzo!

I remember I won a pencil for learning my multiplication tables in 4th grade! Great memory and I remember being absolutely scared to death
