Well, happy happy happy Farmers’ Day to you all. I saw a banner for the Farmers’ Day celebration in Bolga – the theme is “Grow More Food,” which just seems kind of funny to me. There’s no school today, so I’m in Bolga, doing random stuff and going to go over to Jake’s house later. We’re going to paint his house and make falafel. All in the name of farmers, growing more food.
Two interesting things happened yesterday.
1. I had a perfectly normal conversation with a perfectly naked man. I was out walking by the dam and he was bathing in the water. I was just going to tactfully avert my attention and walk on by but he and his friend started talking to me. I guess that makes it sound kind of weird, but it really wasn’t. Nudity isn’t really an issue here. It was interesting.
2. I put henna paste in my hair and now all the parts that were blondy blond are orange. Funny!
