Yesterday, on the way to the STC bus station, I had to stop and ask somebody if it was on this road or that road. Amazingly serendipitously, the woman I stopped to ask was deaf! She initially motioned for me to ask the woman next to her, but when I realized she was deaf and started signing to her, she was delighted and told me which way to go. We were on a really busy sidewalk and people stared, but that’s normal, whatever. It was great! I love deaf people and SL.
